The long awaited Imperial Survey of the Church Worlds. I got a look at the actual book at Spiel and the PDF is every bit as good! I could not contain myself any longer I had to buy the PDF while I await the arrival of my hardcopy from Lulu.com.

So how does it rate? Well the artwork is by far the best of any of the Fading Suns books and I hope that this will continue with future releases. The writing is excellent and highly polished, though this little book is only about 60 pages (the original IS books were half that) the team behind this have expended every effort to ensure satisfaction.

There is only one minor glitch... The chapter on Pentateuch refers the reader to the existing map and write-up in the Weird Places book rather than provide everything in one place. Given the obvious beauty of the new look full page world maps I think this is an opportunity missed.

That said I would still have liked to rate this book as 6 stars! Alas 5 is all the feedback system will let me give.
