"12 Perils for the Living Land" offers a mixture of encounters to spice up jungle journeys. Though specifically framed as results of playing the Perils of the Living Land card, these could also be used anytime a GM needs to spice up a scene or add some conflict to a journey. The perils are not monsters in the strict sense, but more circumstantial hazards both living and environmental. They range from leeches to torrential rainstorms to pitcher plants, and all provide all details necessary to running that encounter, including difficulty numbers. An excellent product that should be immediately useful to GMs!
